They are dedicated, caring, funny, trustworthy and motivated to making Annie's Nursery the best, where children are cared for, nurtured , challenged, listened to and valued. They are all eager to progress in their knowledge and understanding of early years, and spend time outwith nursery researching and training to ensure their practice is current. All of the team are qualified to different levels.

Hello, I took over at Annie's as Manager in July 2020. I have worked in childcare for 8 years. Child development and well-being has been my passion for a long time. I love seeing the progression of children, watching them grow, learn and become conifdent little characters. I am heading up Annie's development journey and the difference in a few months is astounding. I am so excited for the future of Annie's!
Caterpillar Room Lead Practitioner
Lisa is a long standing member of the Annie's nursery team. Lisa has worked her way up from Support Worker to Lead Practitioner. Lisa was recently also promoted to Assistant Manager. Lisa is fantastic with the 0-2's, she is currently on a development journey with her room, making sure the Caterpillar children are getting the most out of their daily nursery experiences.
Butterfly Room Lead Practitioner
Ashleigh joined us in March 2021, she is an experienced Lead Practitioner. Ashleigh has great knowledge working with the 3 -5 age group, and her passion for her role shines through.. We are excited to see the changes Ashleigh will bring to the nursery. The children have instantly taken to Ashleigh, and she is quickly settling in to her new role.
Anne is a beloved memebr of the Annie's team and has been here from the beginning. At present Anne works in the Caterpillar room. Her loving nature and patience make her a hit with the small children.
Danielle joined us after having her own little girl, who is a member of the Caterpillar room. Danielle works in the Butterfly room. Danielle has a passion to learn and is an enthusiastic member of the team.
Emma has previously been part of our relief staff team. In April 2021 she joined the Butterfly room as a permanent member of staff. Emma is a local Mum herself, and has many years experience working with children. Emma has previous childcare experience and has worked as a dinner lady at the local school. Emma is very creative and is already forming positive relationships with the children.
We have a bank of 3 relief staff just now. They are Julie Spence, Kaitlin Dickson, and Lucy Barclay.
